Brooke Miller

Background

Brooke followed up her breakout 2008, during which she became the first women to simultaneously hold both the U.S. Road and Crit National Championships, with a stellar 2009 campaign. Despite being slowed by a respiratory infection during the early part of this season, she managed to win four of six races in nine days during the Southeast Criterium series in the Spring. She returned to form during the summer, and closed the season with authority, winning the Chris Thater Memorial in late August, then sweeping the four-race Women’s Tour of Missouri Series in early September. Brooke will again be looking to establish her dominance in the sprints in 2010.
